The Atlantica is the easy one. A soft, unlined mini tote in full-grain black leather that weighs almost nothing and reshapes to your day — open and relaxed, or cinched smaller with two side hooks. Minimal on the outside, quietly practical on the inside. Designed in Vancouver for the working woman, handcrafted in Mexico.

The piece

The Atlantica is Sangre de Mar's most effortless silhouette — built for the urban minimalist who wants one bag that just works. Unstructured and soft, it carries by two short top handles and holds its shape through use, not stiffening. Two leather hooks on either side let you cinch the body inward, reshaping the open tote into a tidier mini tote. One bag, two attitudes.

The leather

100% full-grain cowhide — the highest grade available, no "genuine" or corrected leather. Designed in Vancouver and handcrafted in Mexico, the natural grain develops a rich patina with every journey and only deepens with time. At roughly half a pound, it's feather-light: all-day carry without the bulk.

The unlined interior

The Atlantica is built without a fabric lining — the inside is the natural reverse of the full-grain hide, which keeps it light and lets both sides of the leather age together. But unlined doesn't mean bare: inside you'll find slip pockets sized for cards, a leather key leash so your keys are never lost at the bottom, and a zip pocket for the small things you want secure. Clean lines outside, real organization within.

Carry

Perfectly sized for the everyday essentials — phone, a slim wallet, keys, sunglasses, your favorite lipstick — without bulk. Worn on the shoulder or held by the top handles, it moves from a morning meeting to the rest of the day without changing register. A signature hand-finished tassel completes it.

The small-batch difference

Each Atlantica is handcrafted in small batches by a single artisan in Mexico using traditional techniques and reinforced stitching. This isn't mass production — it's slow fashion you can see in the leather.

Care
